Escott Autos – Auto Repairs
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all vehicle repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and related work carried out by Escott Autos. By booking, authorising, or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
Escott Autos provides automotive inspection, maintenance, and repair services based on the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection and the information supplied by the customer.
Estimates & Authorisation

All estimates are provided in good faith and are not fixed unless confirmed in writing.

If additional work is required, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

Authorisation may be given verbally, electronically, or in writing.
Payments

Payment is due in full upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Vehicles will not be released until full payment is received.

Late payments may result in storage charges or recovery costs.
Parts

Parts used may be OEM, aftermarket, or reconditioned unless otherwise agreed.

Any replaced parts remain the property of Escott Autos unless requested at the time of repair.
12-Month Warranty (Parts & Labour)
All repairs carried out by Escott Autos include a 12-month warranty on parts and labour, starting from the date of repair.
The warranty covers:

Defective parts supplied by Escott Autos

Faulty workmanship directly related to the repair performed
The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
-
Misuse, neglect, or failure to maintain the vehicle

Accident damage or external causes

Repairs or modifications carried out by third parties after our work

Faults unrelated to the original repair
Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain parts.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:

Provide accurate and complete vehicle information

Remove personal belongings before work begins
Escott Autos is not responsible for loss or damage to items left in vehicles.
Liability
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or unrelated mechanical failures that occur after repairs.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Delays
Escott Autos is not liable for delays caused by parts availability, supplier issues, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
Storage & Uncollected Vehicles
Vehicles not collected within [e.g. 1 or 3] days after notification of completion may incur storage charges and may be treated as abandoned in accordance with UK law.
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service where payment terms are not met or where abusive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour occurs.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Updates
Escott Autos reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will apply to all services provided.
